Truman is 5 years old now.  Can you believe it?  I can’t.  I remember very well the day he was born and how wonderful he was.  Still is for that matter.  It’s so wonderful to have Truman in our family.  He’s so fiery and passionate about life, and Star Wars.  He had a great time with his Grandma Sandy and Grandma and Grandpa Schlegel at his family party.  We’ll be having a play date some time next week with a couple of friends.  He says his favorite gift is the Incredibles game for the Playstation.  Happy Birthday Truman!!

Max’s school picture was just ridiculous.  There’s no way I was going to put it on my wall for a year, so I decided to have my own photo shoot with Max.  I tried it on two separate occasions and the pictures also weren’t what I wanted.  So I ended up taking him to a portrait studio and getting some good photos.  Even though they’re not professional quality, here are the two photo shoots I did at home with him.

Max is 6 now and he’s loving first grade.  Math is his favorite subject and we really hope that holds out.  He’s taking a sports class where they learn about soccer, baseball, football and softball.  Scott’s been watching him and says he’s having a ton of fun.  Max is a great brother; he watches out for Tru and Oli and teaches them new things.  It’s great to watch.

Valentine’s

I know this post is way past due, but I wanted to share what Scott got me for Valentine’s Day.  The photo should be straight forward, but just in case it isn’t, it’s a license plate cover that says “my other car is a horcrux”.  This is a Harry Potter thing.  Does Scott know me or what.  I couldn’t have asked for a better gift.  Once again, I have a great husband.

Also, Scott just took a long weekend and went to Utah to go snowboarding with his brother and a bunch of cousins.  He had a great time.  Stayed up way past his bedtime and came home really happy.  I had a great time while he was gone too.  Went on a little shopping trip and got a great pair of jeans and a really fun purse.  I also had several episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer to watch.  All in all, a great time.
