RSS Feed

So Scott just hooked me up with a RSS Feed Reader.  So it works like a mail client only for blogs. It searches the blogs you subscribe to during the day and lets you know when there has been a new post.  Instead of going to 10 blogs every morning to see if anyone has posted, you just open the reader and it will tell you.  I am loving it.  I totally know when all my friends have posted and I’m sorry to say, more importantly for my obsession, I know every time Stephenie Meyer’s site is updated. btw she’s posted some new movie stuff.  Must see.  I am using Vienna which is for Macs.  Scott says a popular one for PCs is FeedDemon.  You download it and install it then you go to your favorite blog and look for the RSS link that looks like the picture above.  Sometimes it’s in the address bar on the far right.  You click on the link and it automatically goes to your reader.  Then it will check it for you at intervals while you have it open.  Love it, love it, love it.

    i am really going to have to try this out again. tried it once but i must have been missing something because it didnt work for me. i will press on

    Let me know how it works. I don’t have a PC so I can’t test it out myself. Vienna works great though. Aah, if you only had a Mac.
