Spring Break

We’ve had a really fun, really low key Spring Break.  We hung out at the Schlegel’s house, the park, our house and yesterday we went to the beach with the Sharps and Geddes.  I knew the way so Lisa and Julianne followed me.  So of course I missed my exit on to 85.  Thankfully there’s a second way to get on so it wasn’t too embarrassing.  When we got to the beach I was about to put my jeans on that I brought.  But I stuck it out and not too long afterwards I’d taken my top off.  Don’t worry, I had a bathing suit on underneath.  The kids had a great time throwing a football in to the waves and letting them carry it back.  There wasn’t too much sand play but there was enough to bring some home with us.  I of course got fried.  Didn’t put any sunscreen on my legs and paid the price.  And I’ve got some nice raccoon eyes from my sunglasses.  Sorry I don’t have a picture of that for you.  All in all we’ve had a great week.  Especially since the weather has been fabulous.

I’m a little sad I didn’t go to church to see your raccoon sunburn. But not that sad because, as Paul says, “getting to skip church is the Church’s reward for having a baby.” Ha ha. Anyhow, I think your boys are so darling–the beach pics, especially.

okay, I’m posting a comment. Yes, these are three of the cutest, sweetest boys ever. And the pic’s are really cute. It looks like they were having lots of fun. I poached some of them for the family website.
