I just wanted to talk about my current favorite website for a sec. This guy Kaleb is reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer and is blogging about his reactions to it. He also has stories of other guys who were roped in to reading the books and ended up loving them. Seriously fun read.

On a different note, my friend Summer just got an award for her company that makes baby bows. Check out her bows at babyblingbows.com

Star Wars

So here’s my video. My favorite parts are Oli singing the theme song, Max lying on the floor and fighting with Grandma Schlegel, and Scott taking no prisoners throughout. Watch out for Tru, he’s got a wicked spin attack.

Star Wars is big in our house right now. The kids love the original three movies. They’ve beaten but continue to play both Lego Star Wars games for PS2. They are constantly pretending to be using the force; mostly on me. They rotate through which character they’re going to be for Halloween (yes, they’re already planning for it). It’s pretty much always on their minds. It doesn’t help that Scott bought each of us our own lightsabers. Scott and I have red ones which in the movies mean the Dark Side, but I don’t really see it that way. Strict? Yes. Evil? No. It is always us against them though. Their favorite game is for Scott to hide and then when they find him they battle to the death.

Iron Man

I tried to take a picture to prove that Scott and I were out at a movie on it’s second night open but they didn’t turn out. Okay, so I didn’t like the way I looked in them. Anyway, the movie was great. I would definitely recommend it to the girls. Just so you know where I’m coming from I also liked all three X-Men, the first two Spiderman movies, and LOVED Batman Begins (can’t wait for the next installment of this one). I think I’ve seen pretty much all the new comic book movies and I’m enjoying the genre. This movie had an intense moment that had me cringing and squeezing Scott’s hand but it totally worked itself out and I’m a happy camper. Robert Downey Jr did a fabulous job and I totally bought him all the way through. My favorite character is Pepper Pots his assistant; not because of her acting but because of her name. If a little girl were ever dropped on our doorstep I’d totally name her Pepper. Probably the cutest girl’s name I’ve ever heard.

Scott, You got anything to add? Anyone else see the movie?

ps I left my iPhone at home today when I went out and I totally felt naked. I couldn’t even take a picture of my table full of friends at our Stake Enrichment Activity. Lesson learned.
