Twilight Tool

Yes, that’s me. A Twilight tool. I was on my way to Borders on Saturday and I was going to grab the book and read the first chapter of Breaking Dawn and then just leave it behind. On my way over Scott called and said, “Why don’t you just get the book.” Can you hear the love and the disdain in his voice (love winning out I believe)? Needless to say, he made my day and I officially bought into the marketing scheme. I skipped into Borders and bought my copy of the Eclipse Special Edition. It’s everything I hoped for and more and I’m dying to talk about it so if you’ve read it give me a call. I’m also willing to loan my copy out as long as you promise to read only the preface and first chapter. I’d love to get this to as many people as possible so if you’re looking to read Eclipse again you can have my other copy to read. Those are my rules. Please borrow my copy I want everyone to be as excited as I am. You can even bring your kids to my house and I’ll watch them while you read then we can talk about immediately!!
For a teaser you can go to my last post but I wanted to add my own teaser. They have a big spread with the cover of Breaking Dawn on it and it says this:

I was abruptly overwhelmed by the truth of my own works. This moment was so perfect, so right, there was no way to doubt it. His arms wrapped around me, holding me against him….It felt like every nerve ending in my body was a live wire.
“Forever,” he agreed
Delicious. The preface is good too. It really is a lot of fun ladies. Borrow my book.

Jon and I both read it Saturday night! We didn’t buy into the marketing scheme….I’m ashamed to say that we sat in the young adult section of a bookstore around 8:30pm and huddled over the book while I read it aloud.
AND IT IS GOING TO BE SO GREAT!!!
I think that the queen on the cover is Bella after she is changed….after all, the first chapter takes place only several days before the wedding. And what Twilight book takes place over a week? none. Here is my hypothesis: I think that Bella is so looking forward to being changed because she’ll no longer be breakable and a danger magnet, etc. But I think that the Volturi will come into the picture after their wedding. Maybe some other plot twists. With it basically being that even as a vampire, she is attracting danger. And they’ll have to overcome the ultimate threat: the Volturi. And she’ll be a vampire when they show up.
