Dessert and shopping

Scott was nice enough to go to Safeway the other day and do all of the shopping.  I was unloading the groceries when I found this tasty little number.  I was shocked that Safeway would have something so pretty.  Turns out there’s a bakery in the same shopping center (Bernardo and El Camino) that he stopped by and picked this up.  It’s called Sugar Butter Flour and the treat was beyond delicious.  It was a flourless cake with some kind of mousse on top with raspberry sauce mixed in.  Just thinking of it makes me drool.  I wanted all of you to know about this place.  I will definitely be making visits there now that I know it exists.  Yum.

OMG!!!! I LOVE sugar butter flour- Ben and I go there all the time, I’m suprised I haven’t said something about it before. They have the most delicious lime cheesecake, and Jordyn loves their cupcakes (they’re soooo cute), and their carrot cake is so yummy too- and they have the BEST peanut butter cookies, oh I could go on and on. I used to take the long way home from El Camino just so I could stop and have their croissants for breakfast. This is also where I get Bens B-day cake every year. Anyway, sorry to word vomit on your blog!

The baker said they usually sell out of them before lunch. (which makes me wonder why they don’t make more,…)

Ok, so I’m going to share this website with you- I love it and literally used to stalk it at work. http://www.jatbar.com they’re these total IT guys that work in the bay area and just write up their own opinions on different eateries. This is how I found out about sugar butter flour, and the burrito place by my house, and the mongolian BBQ on El Camino, and, well you get the general idea.
