I totally loved the birthing description. Pretty much anyone that has had a child could probably relate to some aspect of the pregnancy. Mine being cesarean, my mom broken pelvis, others the overcoming relenting pain. I don't know I guess I always thought of these books as beach reads (so sorry Alisa) but this one reached me at such a deeper level. I probably wouldn't advise this for teenagers with the honeymoon stuff though. Again some pretty sacred stuff in bold print. All in all Loved it and I too was excited for the ending where she shared her mind with Edward. Hope you have had a blast at the concert.

PS. I read an article that said Stephenie's agents asked her to put LESS violence in BD. So I am assuming the ending happened the way it did as a result of this request. I full on expected a battle that left a lot of carnage. I'm glad it didn't end that way though---it gives more to people's imaginations for what went on in the months/years that passed afterward.

I loved the whole exchange between Rosalie and Jacob. And I loved that they were able to come to an understanding after Renesmee was born, even though they still didn't LOVE each other. I laughed so hard when Bella had her confrontation with Jacob about his nickname for her daughter. And I am so happy that Stephenie gave the Bella-Charlie relationship closure. Who cares about Renee, she's just a name that bounces around the other 3 books, but Charlie was a huge piece of Bella's human life. It wouldn't have been right to just tell him she was dead and leave it at that.

And Jon is just finishing in the next room. We read the first half of the book together, then he left for business trips, and I finished while he was gone, and now he's home and went right to the back room to finish the story. LOVE that I married a Twilight Man!!!

Have you checked out the Breaking Dawn playlist yet? Some good tunes, and I noticed that your new favorite band, the Plain White T's, made the list. I'm currently listening to "Can't keep my eyes off you" by Muse. Hilarious. So, um, what do you say we head to LA tomorrow and talk about BD the whole way?! Cannot wait.
