But she is really funny in how she writes. She grew up wealthy and privleged and wanted to be a big city high powered attorney. She ended up as a home schooling rancher's wife in the boonies of Oklahoma. Besides her sometimes funny stories about everyday life, there are good recipes and misc. stuff on her site, including stuff about learning photography, etc. -Mom I didn’t tell you about thepioneerwoman cuz I didn’t think it would be your type of site. They're great. I don't know how people find all of these! It is huhlariuz. I got turned onto cakewrecks by you too. The kermit cake still makes me laugh, so gross. Sometimes I read http://www.mormonmomma.com/ when I feel like I need a break from the world. I think it is a blog forumed by women in the same ward, and they post thoughts they have on spiritual stuff every week. Great place for ideas on church talks. And when I'm bored I go to http://pickypalate.blogspot.com/ because it has great ideas for making food that kids will eat that isn't just macaroni and cheese or spaghetti or corndogs. But the one you'll probably get the biggest kick out of is http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/ Basically people send in notes they wrote or that they've seen that are so funny! Like someone will leave an anonymous letter on someone's front door telling them they're making the neighborhood look trashy by leaving their garbage bins on the street too long. It is pretty funny.
