Amen sweetie. Thanks for your helping me to feel more comfortable doing the calling and giving me some "talking tips". I too was nervous about putting myself out there, even to perfect strangers. Sometimes it's harder to be obedient to what we think "are the little things". But then I came across people who had never heard of Prop. 8. And my preconceived notions of how people would vote based on age or voter status changed. I had an 80 year old tell me she was against it and a 24 year old saying definitely for it. And most of the people who didn't know what Prop. 8 was let me take a moment to explain. And most of them after hearing about it said they were defintely going to vote yes. How many of them would've maybe voted no out of confusion or just left it blank if they had not had someone call to give them a one minute explanation. Either way it goes at voting time, at least we know we gave it a good try and did our part however big or little.
