The best part of eating with Mike's family for Thanksgiving is that they have to incorporate Italian food no matter what. So, if the turkey is dry one can always fill up on the ravioli, lasagna, etc. Turkey isn't easy to make from what I hear. That's why I bought a pre cooked turkey breast from Honeybaked and Mike declared it the best turkey he's had. I completely see your point about not being thrilled with the typical Tday meal.
As for games.... its painful, but all 3 kids could play Memory with you. Mike is big on Monops with the kids. Maybe one of you could co-play with Oli. the kids will love playing the games, but as an adult it is really hard to remain patient as they learn the game or as they dork around. It takes a lot of bribing for me to sit and play Monops with them. I generally try to lose as quick as possible.
Scrabble is one they dig. They will pull out all of the questionable words they can get away with. And we let them get away with it. Be ready for booger, butt, you see where I'm going.

I remember going to Black Angus with the family. I also remember one year, I finished before everyone else and looking at every eat their food made me sick to my stomach, so my mom whipped me out of the booth so I could throw up in a trash can on the way to the bathroom. heh, aw, memories. :)
