We had a really great Christmas this year.  All three of the kids were old enough to know what’s going on and experience some anticipation and excitement.  We split Christmas up between my mom and the Schlegels and it really worked out nicely.  Brandon and Maria were down from Sac and it was fun to have all the cousins together again.  The biggest hit of the season are the Nerf guns the Walker’s gave us.  So much fun  We had the kids up in the hallway and the adults behind the couch and madness ensued.  It was wild and crazy fun.  It only got crazier when Scott took apart all six guns and modified them so that they shoot further and harder.  I’m telling you we have never had this much fun with at Christmas before.

As you’ve seen, Oliver has rather long hair.  It touches his shoulders.  I LOVE it but Scott keeps asking me to get it cut so I decided I would do it, but it had to considered a gift to Scott.  So this morning I took a picture of Oli a year ago and told the lady at Super Cuts to cut it short again.  Well, sort of short.  I couldn’t take it all off.  I think I would have died if I had done that.  So, without further ado here’s Oli with his hair cut.  It just goes to show how much I love you Scott.  Merry Christmas! (Oh, and Max got a trim too.)

This is how it ended up.  Pretty stinking close.  I had to be kind of a jerk though and kept saying, “I would like it shorter please,” over and over and over again.  It paid off though.  I think it looks great.

We had a really great Christmas this last year. My Dad and Cheryl were in town from Oregon so we had an early Christmas with them, Brandon, Maria, Emma and Reuben. Then we had Christmas with my Mom and Brandon’s family. Then we went to Scott’s parent’s house. Then Christmas day we went up to see Scott’s grandma. It was a whole lot of fun. Sorry we don’t have pictures of Scott’s parents. I wasn’t so good with the camera that day. But we do love them. Don’t mind my hair either. I don’t know what was happening that day.
